Cancer Biology
Cancer biology is an academic field that studies the characteristics of cancer cells, the mechanisms of development and metastasis, and cancer treatment techniques at the molecular and cellular level. At SIMS, researchers are conducting a range of studies targeting diverse types of human cancer such as cancer stem cells, cancer cell metabolism, cancer onset and metastasis, and mechanisms of malignancy and recurrence.
