암중개융합연구실 (Integrated and Translational Cancer Research Lab) 

- 유전체 불안정성은 암 발생 및 암 진행에 있어서 주요한 원인의 하나이며 유전체 불안정성은 유전자의 돌연변이가 세포분열을 통해 다음 세대로 전달되고 축적됨으로써 생명체의 정상적인 대사를 방해하며 결과적으로 암 및 유전성 질병들을 초래함

- 항암제를 사용한 치료는 암 치료법 중 매우 일반적이고, 적극적인 치료 방법으로 수술요법이나 방사선 치료요법과는 달리 전신에 적용하는 비특이적 치료 방법임. 따라서 암 부위 이외의 원하지 않는 조직에도 항암제가 영향을 미치며 적지 않은 부작용이 초래됨. 모든 사람들의 세포는 각 유전체 및 환경이 다름에 따라 유전자의 발현 정도 및 활성화 정도가 다름. 따라서 항암제 감수성 및 내성 또한 다르게 나타나며 이에 따른 부작용도 다르게 나타남.    


연구목표

Aim 1. 다양한 cellular stress 상황에서 tumorigenesis 메커니즘 연구

Aim 2. Drug resistance를 조절하는 유전적, 약물학적 인자 발굴

Aim 3. 암환자 세포 유전체 분석 및 메커니즘연구를 통한 personalized therapy 제시
